NVVN Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Ltd, has signed an MoU with Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) for establishment of Renewable Energy (RE) projects and trading of Renewable Energy. 

NVVN shall assist IGL to venture into RE landscape covering various aspects viz. replacement of existing grid power with RE power, battery storage, setting up of solar plant, open market power procurement and RE-Power trading.

NVVN shall act as Energy trading partner for IGL.

Under this MoU, NVVN shall conduct pre-feasibility study and provide Project Management Consultancy (PMC) to IGL from concept to commissioning. 

Shri Vinod Kumar Dhaaka, ED (Business Development & Corporate Strategy), IGL and Shri Shyam Kumar, GM (Business Development), NVVN signed the MoU in the presence of Smt Renu Narang, CEO, NVVN and Shri Kamal Kishore Chatiwal, MD, IGL on 5th September 2023.
